Thanks to Joe Bongiorno, who first dragged me kicking and screaming into the mucky mythos of Swamp Thing, and to Paul Giachetti, who created the amazing header banner.

Thanks also to reader 'Alec Holland,' whose support has been invaluable; Mike Sterling, for promoting Swamp Thing and this site; and Kevin Church, for his excellent optimization advice.

And thanks to Len Wein, Bernie Wrightson, Alan Moore, John Totelben, Stephen Bissette, Jamie Delano, Garth Ennis and all the other creators whose work inspired this site.

Site Update: Forgotten Lore
by Rich Handley
June 7, 2010

Four unpublished Swamp Thing-related tales/series have been added to the Forgotten Lore section of this website: Swamp Thing: Déjà Vu, a planned three-issue miniseries from Swamp Thing creators Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson; Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski's planned Swamp Thing and John Constantine tales in the pages of The Brave and the Bold; British sci-fi author China Miéville's aborted launch of a fifth monthly Swamp Thing title; and "Night of the Rat," a story slated for The House of Secrets #141, way back in the 1970s, that has only ever been published in Swedish—several Enlgish pages of which have surfaced over at Heritage Auctions. (Scroll down to the end of the article after clicking—the latest entries are near the bottom.)
